SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE

To support our wide range or users, asset types and deployment options, Deighton provides an open, customizable enterprise architecture that serves as the foundation for our integrated solutions. All Deighton products and solutions are built around a robust and established core platform that enables us to seamlessly leverage and integrate with existing IT infrastructures.

Key aspects of Deighton’s architecture focus on:

Scalability: With increasing demand from users to incorporate multiple asset types and their supporting data, dTIMS CT does not limit your database size. In addition, you can easily scale your application to support multiple CPUs.

Data Integration: dTIMS CT provides integration to your other databases, which may contain traffic data, road condition data, curb and gutter information or construction history data. Using an OBDC connection, dTIMS CT pulls relevant information from these existing databases for use with various analysis models. dTIMS CT's incredible flexibility allows users to either import data physically into dTIMS CT or dynamically connect to this data. In either case, dTIMS CT is flexible enough to support virtually any type of data integration scenario.

Accessibility: To support multiple users across a department, agency or state, dTIMS CT may be deployed locally within a LAN or online via a web browser, with tailored user access rights based on individual roles and responsibilities. Our platforms enable you to support the most popular enterprise database systems on the market with the power of an established and proven analysis engine.

Security: To protect and limit access to your asset management projects, dTIMS CT supports various levels of security, from software keys to defining end user access rights, roles and responsibilities. dTIMS CT fully supports SQL Server 2005, which has been certified under the US government's C2-level security certification - the highest level of security available in the industry which dTIMS CT fully supports. dTIMS CT fully supports Oracle Enterprise Security Assessment (ISO 27001) up to data level security.
