ENTERPRISE/DESKTOP
dTIMS CT is a customizable framework application for asset management that seamlessly combines data management and asset analysis into one centralized application. dTIMS CT was designed exclusively to handle and analyze large amounts of data which describe a linear infrastructure. With dTIMS CT's unique flexibility, managers now have the ability to integrate not just one type of asset but all aspects of their infrastructure into one central data repository.

Many dTIMS CT users are incorporating road, bridge and safety information for cross-asset optimization analysis. A powerful database management system, dTIMS CT efficiently stores data that describes the attributes of what is on, under or beside every foot of roadway in the network.
dTIMS CT delivers a structured asset management system, where all three fundamental areas - data management (including data transformation), optimized analysis and global reporting - all work in unison.
ENTERPRISE/DESKTOP FEATURES
01. Data Management
Centralized Database (SQL Server, Oracle or Access for Desktop): Store all of your assets and corresponding asset data in one centralized database.
Queries & Transformations: Use queries to produce reports on your database and send this information to an external report. Aggregate different data sources using transformations.
ODBC Connector: The ODBC Connector provides the flexibility to connect to external databases and tables through an ODBC connection. This connections uses the data storage strengths of databases such as Oracle and allows dTIMS CT to maintain the linear referential integrity. There is no practical limit to the amount of data that can be referenced by dTIMS CT.
Location Referencing: dTIMS CT accommodates unlimited numbers of location reference methods and allows you to switch from one method to another.
Image Viewer: Do you find you often need to visually reference a point or section of your network and a currently limited by the visual road information that you can display? The Image Viewer solves this problem by allowing you to create a “view” with hyperlinks to various file formats for display.
02. Optimized Analysis
Life Cycle Cost Analysis: A typical dTIMS CT analysis consists of two steps, Generating Strategies and Optimization. Generating Strategies constructs a list of strategies for each element and Optimization chooses one strategy from the list for each element so that an objective function is achieved while not violating established constraints.
This analysis also allows you to generate a list of feasible strategies for each infrastructure element in the database and predicts the future conditions of the elements. You can also review and adjust the construction programme recommended by dTIMS CT.
Optimization: You need to know the best strategy for each network element so you can maximize the overall benefits yet not exceed the yearly budget levels. dTIMS CT Optimization selects one strategy for each element so that your established objectives are met while not exceeding your available budget. You define the budgets and budget scenarios to use during optimization.
03. Global Reporting
Parameter Reports: Document the structure of your particular system. You can create reports to list fields in the inventory file, treatment details, list of analysis sets, list of expressions and details and much more. You can send these reports to a printer, the screen or a file (such as an HTML file).
Analysis Reports: You can create reports such as: Efficiency Frontier reports, Condition Distribution reports, Backlog reports, Remaining Work reports and much more. All graphs are completely customizable. You can change features such as colours, footnotes, legends, and rotation.
